Using Local Real Estate Professionals is important to ensure that you receive the best support & advice when buying or selling a home.  It also assures everyone involved in your transaction that you have the right team.

Here are 4 reasons to use Local Real Estate Professionals when buying or selling a home:

1. Knowledge of Area

Often questions are raised that can be best answered with local expertise.

A Local Real Estate Agent will be more familiar with the subject area. Furthermore, a
Local Real Estate Agent will be more familiar with the pros & cons of a neighborhood, nearby school districts & businesses, and be able to provide strong referrals for other professionals if needed (i.e. plumber, moving company, etc.).

A Local Real Estate Attorney will have better context for Contract terms & Title Report items and will be in a better position to protect you.

2. Stronger Relationships

A Local Real Estate Professional will likely have stronger relationships with other professionals involved in both sides of the transaction.  This increases your chances of initiating & completing a productive transaction with constructive communication & solutions.

3. Better Availability

A Local Real Estate Professional will likely be able to attend to items more quickly and have a local team to assist.

A Local Real Estate Agent will have a better ability to address items related to the property being sold in a timely manner.  Also, a Local Mortgage Lender will likely have a local team to help avoid potential issues (i.e. Non-Local Mortgage Lenders often don’t have Local Bank Attorneys which risks timing and adjournment issues).

4. Accountability

A Local Real Estate Professional will prioritize your transactions since there is local accountability.

Local Real Estate Professionals will be mindful of their current relationship with you & others in the area and increased chances for long term relationships. Local Real Estate Professionals are grateful for your referrals and positive words to friends & family.
